Why LLHorseshoeing?

Care * Patience * Excellence

We wholeheartedly stand behind these values. Many farriers are taught in their schooling to trim no matter what. Take a full nipper cut, rasp the hooves, and put on a shoe. We believe each horse can have good conformation and sound feet. This starts by looking at the horse and what their own confirmation is. We shoe and trim for the horse. Taking accurate measurements, watching them walk, keepings schedules for the horse needs.

Care: care can be defined as “the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.” We take this into account for every animal we may come into contact with. We bring up issues or health concerns with your equines hooves as soon as we notice something. We treat your animals as if they are our own. Working along side veterinaries as needed, being gentle when handling them, and looking for the best solutions when problems arise.

Patience: we will listen to any and all concerns you have. We want to hear how the horses are doing in between appointments. We understand that both working efficiently but slow enough to not harm the horse is important. We also take time during out appointments to answer any questions you have, explain what we are doing as well as go over suggestions for care in between appointments.

Excellence: we want to be proud of the work we do. We want you to be happy with the services received. This is why we strive for the best you can get. Through conversation, multiple visits, and proper equine knowledge we are able to provide you with an enjoyable experience.
